Courtney Martin, LCSW

Hello! I am so glad you are here.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Licensed in Florida.

I was born and raised in Florida. I began my higher education journey at Palm Beach State College where I received my AA and AS in human services. I then went on for my Bachelors in Social work from FAU. After my Bachelors I applied and was approved for their Advanced standing program for high achievers, which allowed me to complete my Masters degree in social work while working full time.

My early experiences as a therapist were at a dual diagnosis facility where folks could come get help for severe and persistent mental health issues and or addiction issues. This allowed me to work with people from all walks of life and to see and treat many issues including anxiety, addiction, depression, PTSD, Bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, self esteem issues, and relationship issues, as well as significant adverse childhood experiences including neglect. I loved my clients but felt limited due to the programs 30-60 day limit.

This caused me to move into private practice where I could continue seeing all the above people, but with no time limitations on therapy. This also afforded me the ability to work extensively with first responders and Veterans. I discovered I could see the powerful change that therapy can create for those who are open minded and do the work.

I am experienced in working with individuals, couples, and group therapy.  I typically work with adults seeking trauma treatment.
